Welcome to the Washington State Department of Transportation SR 510/Yelm Loop – New Alignment Phase 2 online open house.
The purpose of this online open house is to provide an update on how the project has progressed since the September 2018 in-person open house hosted by WSDOT in Yelm. (Note: You do not need to have attended the September 2018 open house to participate here.)
This online open house will provide an overview of the WSDOT proposed improvements as part of the completion of the final three miles of roadway between Cullens Road Southeast and SR 507. In 2010, WSDOT completed the first phase of construction on SR 510, the Yelm Loop. In 2015, the legislature funded Phase 2 which will complete the final three miles of the Yelm Loop.
This new connection, like Phase 1, is a two-lane highway with a shared-use path for bicycles and pedestrians.
We invite you to tour this open house to learn more about project history, proposed design and plans for this vital transportation link.
The SR 510/Yelm Loop – New Alignment Phase 2 online open house will be live from October 28 – December 2, 2019.
Construction is scheduled to begin in 2021.
