Cross-state travelers will need to add extra travel time to their trips now through fall 2024. The Washington State Department of Transportation and contractor crews will be busy improving sections of Interstate 90 from North Bend to Vantage. Delays will primarily occur weekdays. Full one-hour closures will occur several times a week for rock blasting between June and October. During the summer, travelers will also experience delays due to increased traffic eastbound on Fridays and westbound on Sundays.
