In addition to the 2023 projects, more projects will begin in 2024, including these two, removing fish passage barriers.

US 101/SR 116 North Olympic Peninsula – Remove Fish Barriers

  • Lees and Ennis Creek (mileposts 250-250.5) near Port Angeles
  • US 101 at Tumwater Creek (milepost 246.4) near Port Angeles
  • SR 116 at Chimacum Creek (milepost 0.22) near Port Hadlock

US 101 – SR 109 Grays Harbor, Jefferson and Clallam Counties – Remove Fish Barriers

  • Up to 7 culverts will be replaced in this fish passage bundle. All are located on US 101 in Clallam County, near Forks, and in Jefferson County.

The design phase of the projects is on-going. More information will be available in early 2024 on what travelers can expect in terms of detours and potential delays.
