What can travelers expect?
Travelers will experience single lane closures Monday through Friday now until the end of May. After Memorial Day weekend, traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction seven days a week with the following exceptions:
• Memorial Day: All lanes open 7 a.m. Friday, May 24 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 28.
• Fourth of July: All lanes open 7 a.m. Monday, July 1 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 8.
• Labor Day: All lanes open 7 a.m. Friday, Aug. 30 to 8 p.m. Monday Sept. 3.

Daytime traffic shift and lane restrictions will cause minor delays in both directions through multiple areas between North Bend and Hyak.

Single-lane, westbound closures 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Two left lanes open in this three-lane section. Intermittent double-lane closures in May to set up the work zone.

- Two lanes of traffic open during the day. One lane of traffic open in each direction at night.
- Full one-hour closures an hour before sunset several times a week for rock blasting.
