This online open house provides information about an important Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) study focusing on improvements for people walking, rolling and taking transit. The State Route 99 Lynnwood and Unincorporated Snohomish County Pre-Design Study Area, or SR 99 Study Corridor, spans from 212th Street Southwest to Airport Road, affecting Everett, Mukilteo, Lynnwood, Edmonds, Mountlake Terrace and Brier. The project map below illustrates the SR 99 Study Corridor. You’ll find details about the study—including study needs, existing conditions, potential improvements and opportunities to provide feedback.

The SR 99/Lynnwood and Unincorporated Snohomish County Pre-Design Study corridor runs on SR 99, from Airport Road in Everett to 212th Street Southwest in Lynnwood. The study area includes a half-mile buffer around the roadway.

What is the purpose of the SR 99/Lynnwood and Unincorporated Snohomish County Pre-Design Study?

The purpose of the SR 99/Lynnwood and Unincorporated Snohomish County Pre-Design Study is to develop improvement options that provide safe and convenient connections for active transportation users (people walking, biking, rolling and accessing transit) while prioritizing mobility needs of environmental justice populations (as defined by state guidance).
