Segment 3: Bike and Pedestrian Facility Options

Segment #3 is from 76th Street Southwest to 6th Street. The surrounding area is residential with Olympic View Middle School and Mukilteo Elementary School to the east. SR 525 has sidewalk in some sections and one lane and shoulder in each direction. SR 525 begins descending the hill towards the Mukilteo waterfront with the addition of a ferry holding lane just north of Goat Trail Road.

Options under consideration

Option 3 shows a separated two-way bike lane with a buffer separating it from SR 525 and a sidewalk on both sides of the roadway.
