About the CCMP
WSDOT worked with Skanska to create the Community Construction Management Plan (CCMP) to address the negative impacts on historic properties from the SR 520 Bridge Replacement and HOV Program. This plan deals with concerns about vibration, noise, and visual changes from construction.
What’s included
In the CCMP, you can find:
- What neighbors can expect during construction.
- What practices Skanska will follow to minimize effects.
- How Skanska will avoid or reduce construction effects on homes and historic properties.
Vegetation management
We also created a Tree and Vegetation Management and Protection Plan (TVMPP). The TVMPP outlines how we will preserve and protect trees and vegetation around the construction area. It shows where mature trees will be removed, protected and restored – including temporary construction areas.
