The project team next identified potential improvement concepts to address the baseline needs identified in the analysis: Adjustments that will bring SR 516 to LOS D or better which will improve intersection operations, safety, multimodal connectivity, and transit access on SR 516.
The WSDOT study team, in consultation with the City of Covington staff and their consultant team, Transpo Group, evaluated multiple possible improvement concepts to address the identified needs.
