Introduction
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is conducting a study on State Route (SR) 516 between Covington Way Southeast (Milepost 11.16) and just east of 169th Place Southeast (Milepost 11.75). This study is focused on identifying improvements to address safety and accessibility for all users.
This online open house presents a summary of the study planning process and the proposed recommended improvement concepts.
These are planning-level concepts that will need to be refined in the design phase. Currently, design and construction funding has not been identified for the proposed recommendations. Figure 1 shows the SR 516 – Covington Study Area.
