Improvements are coming to the State Route 162/Valley Avenue overpass in Sumner.
In 2018, the Washington State Department of Transportation completed a study of this intersection. As a result, we will replace the existing intersections with single lane roundabouts. A roundabout is planned on each side of the overpass.
The improvements will increase mobility. It will reduce congestion related delays, while maintaining or improving the safe operation of the highway.
Before construction begins, we want to hear from you.
