The Lower Snake River Dams Transportation Study is moving into Phase 2. During Phase 2 the study team will use the TLC model to calculate estimated impacts on safety, air quality, and greenhouse gas emissions based on changes in barge, rail, and truck traffic.
In addition to the engagement that has been conducted, during the following phases, the study team plans to:
- Participate in community events to engage with the public within the study area.
- Provide briefings to groups and organizations within the study area.
- Sign up for study updates through WSDOT’s GovDelivery online email service.
- Share information through additional online open houses.
- Update the study website with ongoing study progress information.
- Continue hosting TAC and CAC meetings.
- Continue engaging in one-on-one consultations with industry partners.
